Your First Document

Create, organize, and structure documents like a ForgeMD pro.

Getting a document written is two clicks: document creation is in the dashboard, and the editor itself gives you everything else.

Creating a document

  1. Open your personal dashboard.
  2. Press New Document (or pick an AI-powered template).
  3. Name your document and start writing.

The editor view switcher

The toolbar has three modes: WYSIWYG (rich text), Markdown (source), and split-screen — Markdown on one side, rich text on the other. Both views stay in sync as you type, so team members who prefer plain Markdown and team members who prefer formatting can work in the same document without friction.

Organizing work

Drag documents into folders inside any workspace, or use the personal dashboard for anything private. Open multiple documents in tabs to keep several projects in flight simultaneously.
